Countertop Contractors in Asheville, NC

6 local businesses listed

Countertops are usually the last decision in a kitchen project and the one people spend the longest on. The practical part is simpler than the showroom makes it feel: quartz is engineered and consistent, granite and marble are natural and each slab is its own thing, and the fabricator’s skill matters more than the material for how the finished kitchen looks. Seams, edge profiles, and how a sink is cut in are where you’ll notice good work.

If you’re buying natural stone, go see the actual slab. Photos and small samples don’t tell you where the veining lands, and on a large island that’s the entire visual.

The fabricators and installers here work out of Asheville, Fletcher, and Arden, serving kitchens and baths across the region.

Ask about template-to-install timing before you commit. Most fabricators template after the cabinets are set, then need a week or two — which means planning to be without a kitchen sink for that stretch. Knowing the number in advance makes the whole remodel easier to live through.
