K-Wall Poured Walls, LLC
K-Wall Poured Walls has been pouring foundations from Foundation Way in Fletcher since 1993 — an address that is either a coincidence or a good sign, depending on how you look at it.
They both manufacture and install, which is the unusual part. Alongside conventional poured walls they produce PreKast precast panels at their own plant, so a foundation can go in faster and in weather that would stop a site pour. The line extends to flatwork, decorative concrete, epoxy floors, waterproofing, and gypsum underlayments — including Gyp-Span Radiant for in-floor heating.
The Concrete Foundations Association of America named them Contractor of the Year in 2008, and they remain a CFA member and a member of the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
One practical argument they make for poured over block: concrete off-gasses nothing and gives fungi nothing to hold onto — worth weighing in a climate as damp as this one. A sister operation runs in Traverse City, Michigan.
