Andrews Truss is a four-generation, family-owned truss manufacturer in Andrews, NC, building custom roof and floor truss packages for home builders and contractors across the Blue Ridge Mountains. They’ve been at it since 1990 — more than 35 years — and the delivery operation is built specifically around mountain terrain, which is a real distinction when your jobsite is at the end of a steep gravel drive.

The work is custom, not catalog. Alongside standard roof and floor systems they build scissor, attic, gambrel, and multi-story truss packages, and they’ll supply LVL beams and Simpson Strong-Tie hardware as part of a truss order.

They serve a roughly 150 to 200 mile radius from Andrews — Western North Carolina including the Asheville area, north Georgia, and upstate South Carolina. Tennessee is outside their delivery range.

Worth knowing what they don’t do, because it saves a phone call: they manufacture and deliver, but don’t frame or install. They also don’t take on commercial, multi-family, or tract housing work, don’t provide licensed PE engineering or foundation plans, and don’t sell hardware without an accompanying truss order.

They compete on execution rather than price — the pitch is better service, better quality, better delivery — which tends to matter most on custom builds where a late or wrong truss package stops everything else on site.
